ReneSola Ltd. (SOL), a Chinese solar panel manufacturer, agreed to sell Hong Kong-based China Seven Star Holdings Ltd. (245) at least 200 megawatts of solar power projects through the end of 2015.
ReneSola will sell existing and new projects, including four in Bulgaria and Romania, under a preliminary agreement, the Jiashan, China-based company said in a statement quoted by Bloomberg. ReneSola also agreed to sell two projects totaling 9.7 megawatts of capacity that are already marketing power into the grid in Bulgaria.
“The possible sale of the two projects in Bulgaria, as well as other projects with a total capacity of 200 megawatts, is a continuation of our strategy to selectively develop projects in solar energy,” said the director of ReneSola, Xianshou Li.
Chinese from ReneSola entered the solar market in Romania in 2012, when the company took Lucas Romanian Eastern developing a photovoltaic park in the village of Grove, Prahova County, on a plot of 14 hectares, according to Agerpres.
