“The new Government has to administer the country’s affairs in a difficult period, marked by multiple crises, and its task is to provide security to the citizens and put the country on a path of development despite these crises,” the president of the Republic of Moldova Maia Sandu said, during her speech.
She referred to the task of strengthening the security of the Republic of Moldova in the conditions where destabilization attempts are a reality in the country.
“People’s expectations are very high. The Republic of Moldova must not only resist, but also develop. The task of the new Government is to provide security and put the country on a path of development despite the crises. Accession to the EU remains the country’s project, which will allow economic growth and raise people’s living standards. We need decisive steps to strengthen the country’s security. Threats to our country are a reality. Destabilization attempts are a reality,” added Maia Sandu.
