Romanian state is auctioning its stake in the Krivoi Rog plant in Ukraine, as it pays one million euros a year for security and conservation, according to a statement from the Ministry of Economy, Entrepreneurship and Tourism (MEAT).
The institution has published in decisional transparency the draft Ordinance that allows the capitalization of the assets related to the Ukrainian plant Krivoi Rog owned by Romania.
Thus, MEAT proposes the capitalization of the participation through the auction, and, if a certain offer was admitted in the auction procedure, the auction can be followed by negotiation, in order to maximize the incomes.
For the organization of this approach, consultancy services will be contracted, including legal consultancy services, the expenses being borne from the MEAT budget. The amounts collected from the capitalization of the participation become income to the state budget, according to Agerpres.
