The total value of the energy projects that have already been centralized at the level of the Ministry of Economy, Energy and Business Environment in order to be selected for financing from European funds through the 10d mechanism amounts to almost 11 billion euro, according to e-nergia.ro.

There are a total of 396 projects submitted. Of the 10.96 billion euros, as the total value, most are aimed at investments in the field of renewables, followed by those in gas generation capacities, inside the energy transition area, from coal to gas.

Here are the areas for which projects were submitted, and their total value:

• Energy efficiency in buildings – 336 million euro
• Energy efficiency in electricity transmission networks – 1.187 billion euro
• Energy efficiency in the cogeneration sector – 1.741 billion euro
• Energy efficiency in industry – 623 million euro
• Renewable energy resources – 3.931 billion euro
• Energy storage – 485 million euro
• Energy efficiency in transport – 181 million euro
• Investments in the National Energy System coal-gas transition – 2.47 billion euro.
