Romanian PM to discuss in Brussels the status of the PNRR objectives

Prime Minister Marcel Ciolacu announced on Wednesday, at the beginning of the Government session, that on Thursday he will discuss in Brussels with the President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen about the stage of the beginning of the PNRR targets and about Romania’s portfolio in the future European Commission, specifying that after this discussion he will send the name and the nomination the future European commissioner from Romania, according to News.ro.

“I will leave in the afternoon for Brussels for tomorrow’s meeting with the president of the European Commission, Mrs. Ursula von der Leyen. We will discuss the status of PNRR fulfillment, together with the Minister of European Investments and Projects and the Minister of Finance.

“We will also analyze the latest developments regarding Payment Request 3, specifically the situations related to the management of state energy and transport companies,” announced Ciolacu.
