Romgaz reported a 6.1% increase in hydrocarbon production in the first half of this year (H1) to 17.4 million boe (barrels of oil equivalent) compared with the same period of the previous year.

Production of crude gas extracted was 2.3% higher at 17.35 million boe (or 2,700 million cubic meters), while condensate production went up by about 166%. Deliveries of gas to third parties declined by 0.7%, while a significant decrease was recorded in the electricity production – of 63%.

In addition, Romgaz injected 64% more gas into the invoiced deposits (1,233 million cubic meters), and the extraction from warehouses fell by 17% (925 million cubic meters).

The company’s report also notes that the consolidated financial results for the first Half of 2019 will be published on August 14, 2019.
