Romgaz (SNG) shareholders approved on Thursday the increase of the ceiling of the credit facility concluded with BCR, by 210 million lei, respectively from 420 million lei, to 630 million lei, according to a report submitted to the Bucharest Stock Exchange.

Romgaz has developed an ambitious investment program of 2.3 billion lei for this year, a good part of which will be dedicated to the Neptun Deep project, the general director of the company, Răzvan Popescu, previously announced.

“In 2022, with the acquisition of the Neptun Deep perimeter, Romgaz had the largest investment program, over 5.6 billion lei. We are preparing an ambitious investment program for 2023, of over 2.3 billion lei, of which less than half will be invested in the Neptun Deep project, and the other investments in the Iernut plant, as well as in mitigating the natural decline in onshore production,” said Popescu.
