Romgaz proposes to grant, starting on July 27, 2023, a gross dividend per share in the amount of 3.42 lei, of which 3.30 lei related to the result from 2022 and 0.12 lei for the carried-over result, according to a report submitted to the Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB).
“In the meeting of March 23, 2023, the Board of Directors of SNGN Romgaz SA approved, with a view to submitting for approval to the Ordinary General Meeting of Shareholders on April 26 (27) 2023, the following: (1) The gross dividend of 3.42 lei/share, taking into account the fact that: dividends due to shareholders, according to the 2022 profit distribution proposal, amount to 1,271,893,920 lei; dividends due to shareholders, according to the proposed distribution of retained earnings, amount to 46,250. 688 lei; dividends are distributed to the shareholders in proportion to the share in the share capital; the share capital of the company is of 385,422,400 lei, divided into 385,422,400 ordinary, registered, indivisible shares with a nominal value of 1 lei. (2) Term for the payment of dividends due to shareholders, respectively the payment of dividends starting on July 27, 2023, taking into account the fact that: the company has the obligation to pay the dividends due shareholders within 60 days from the legal deadline for submitting the annual financial statements, and the deadline for submitting the company’s annual financial statements is of 150 days from the end of the financial year and the dividend payment date established by the General Meeting must be a working day which is no later than 15 working days after the registration date, but no later than 6 months after the date of the General Meeting of Shareholders to set the dividends,” the document says, according to Agerpres.
Dividends will be paid in lei only to shareholders registered in the Shareholders’ Register (held by SC “Depozitarul Central” SA) on the registration date established by the General Shareholders’ Meeting.
