Rompetrol modernised 90 gas stations with 18 million dollars

Rompetrol Downstream, a company member of “KMG International”, has rebranded in the first 7 months of this year 38 filling stations by replacing the visual identity elements with the new Rompetrol logo, as well as by performing exterior works.

Untill the end of the year the modernization works will be finalized for another 52 gas stations, including 20 shops within the stations. The total investment will reach 18 million USD, according to a company release.

“By the improvements made, we would like to continue the dynamic and innovative approach of the company to identify and to offer our customers various services and products in a modern ambience.

Rompetrol stationQuality products coming from “Petromidia” Refinery will be distributed within the “premium” concept that will be found in the entire “Rompetrol” retail network and 15 brand new gas stations in the next period.” Cătălin Dumitru declared, Vice-President of KMG International.

Initiated in 2013, the rebranding program of the entire distribution network consists of replacing with new Rompetrol logo of the company, as well as rearranging the interior space, creating a modern architecture by using quality finish materials.

The first stations chosen for the re-branding are the ones located on important routes as well as those ones that are offering maximum proximity for customers. The re-branded gas stations are in Bucharest, Constanta, Brasov, Arad, Craiova, Bacau, Ploiesti, as well as the 4 “LITRO” stations located on the Sun Highway, at 88 and 139 kilometers.

In Romania the company operates over 750 fuel distribution points (owned stations, “Partner” stations, “Rompetrol Express” stations and internal bases of 9 and 20 cubic meters), 230 automobile LPG distribution stations, 9,000 points for distributing LPG cylinders and 3 gas-filling plants in Constanta, Arad and Bacau.

“KMG International” operates over 1,000 points of fuel distribution in Romania, France, Spain, Republic of Moldova, Georgia, Bulgaria under “Rompetrol” and “Dyneff” brands.
