Rottco, a company with Romanian capital and a turnover of 100 million euros operating on the fuel wholesale retail, began installing the first 30 pumps for fuel distribution and the equipment for interconnection and payment, as part of Rottco Synergy project.
“The installing will end this week and another 30 stations will be equipped with interconnection and payment systems by the end of this year or in the first month of next year,” company officials say.
Rottco, also, launched its own card system for fleets, becoming the first Romanian independent company offering such services in cooperation with independent gas stations. The stations are spread across the main roads of the country, providing nationwide coverage for carriers.
“The new card system Rottco Synergy enables supplying fuel at the same quality as in the large distribution networks of oil products and access to specific services for fleet operating, careful control of expenses with fuel and management of the costs associated with the fleets of cars and trucks operation”, reads the statement.
“Through this program, independent station owners will be able to provide national services with local benefits, a program that keeps profits where they are generated, in the independent gas stations, for the benefit of local communities. Through flexible methods of billing and payment for fleets and suppliers, we will be able to maximize the benefits of both project participants and beneficiaries who, in the first phase, are operators and fleet owners,” says Paul Pop, General Manager Consult Rottco.
In this project, Rottco acts as integrator and it finances most of the services of standardization, integration and interoperation of information.
The strategic objectives of the Rottco Synergy project, launched in June this year, are: interconnection of Romanian independent gas stations in a national and interactive network, able to provide services similar to those ofered by the large international networks, increasing the business value for the independent stations owners and increasing competitiveness – objectives which can only be achieved through access to integrated services, specific to distribution networks.
Rottco was founded in 2007, having as main activity wholesale distribution of petroleum products.
