Russian state-controlled gas giant Gazprom exported 5.8 percent more gas to non-CIS countries between Jan 1. and Sept. 15, totalling 141.3 billion cubic metres (bcm) in the period.
Gazprom’s natural gas output in the same period increased 7.3 percent to 344.4 bcm, it said, according to Reuters.
Russian gas producer will raise its investment program for 2018 to 1.49 trillion rubles (USD 22 billion) from an initially planned 1.28 trillion rubles, the Interfax news agency cited a source as saying on Monday.
On August 29, Gazprom announced an increase of 65 percent to its net profits in the first half of 2018, to 630.8 billion rubles (USD 9.2 billion, 7.9 billion euros).
