Schneider Electric and The Mobility House Solutions, a leader in smart charging technology, have announced a new partnership for electric vehicle charging management solutions, smart charging and energy solutions.
The Mobility House Solutions and Schneider Electric have complementary skills, technologies and a common goal to promote the electrification of mobility. Both companies are motivated by the fact that, according to the IEA, cars and vans were responsible for more than 25% of global oil consumption and about 10% of global energy-related CO2 emissions in 2022, and trucks and buses cover more than 35% of direct CO2 emissions from road transport, although they represent less than 8% of total vehicles.
Such projects can bring numerous social and business benefits to several actors in the energy landscape, starting with companies that deliver or implement new charging solutions in transit or in warehouses. These benefits include optimized capital expenditures, energy efficiency improvements and a path to future energy services.
In addition to the charging infrastructure, the cooperation between Schneider Electric and The Mobility House Solutions is expected to have a positive impact on energy efficiency and prosumer support for grid operators, who are increasingly facing grid congestion under the stringent requirements of a rapidly electrifying landscape.
Schneider Electric offers a range of solutions for electric vehicle (EV) charging stations, designed to support the transition to sustainable transportation.
By collaborating commercially as technology suppliers and resellers, The Mobility House Solutions and Schneider Electric will bring more efficient and cost-effective charging performance to multiple end markets. The collaboration uniquely offers their customers a local charging and energy management system to power and coordinate smart and fast charging of electric vehicles at scale.
