Schneider Electric has implemented for the real estate developer Skanska in the office building Green Court Bucharest, a complex project consisting of energy efficient equipment and solutions, distribution and supply of electricity and centralized management of the building. Schneider Electric is, in fact, the first tenant of Green Court Bucharest, occupying about 3,100 square meters on the 1st and 2nd floors of the building.
“The project with Skanska presented a double challenge for Schneider Electric. First, the solutions that we have implemented, we committed to help Green Court to become one of the greenest buildings in Bucharest and to obtain the LEED Gold certification, strengthening at the same time, our expertise in the office market. Secondly, our dedication to this project was even greater as Green Court was to become our new home, so we wanted to offer our employees optimal working spaces and to enjoy together the benefits of an energy efficient building,” said Florentina Totth, President of Schneider Electric Romania and Moldova.
“I knew from the beginning that we will find in Schneider Electric a reliable partner in developing innovative green offices. On the one hand, because we share the same objective: the concern for a healthy work environment that encourages personal and professional development of people working in the building. On the other hand, because the systems offered by them in the Green Court Bucharest project met the high standards of Skanska International. We had a very good cooperation throughout the whole process and we thank the whole Schneider Electric team for its prooven opening and professionalism,” added Marcin Łapiński, President of Skanska Property Romania.
For the intelligent building management, Schneider Electric Romania has implemented the SmartStruxure Solution, an integrated solution that can bring energy savings of up to 30%, ensuring at the same time, a comfortable, safe and sustainable environment. SmartStruxure Solution includes the control, monitoring and supervision of the building’s installations: central heating, central chilled water, air treatment plants, fan coil system, exhaust fans, electrical panels, metering system.
