The Electricity Distribution Company Transilvania Sud, part of the Electrica Group, has budgeted for 2019 an investment program of over 259 million lei, structured on the modernization and refurbishment of distribution networks, works that will have the effect of increasing electricity consumption by ensuring continuity in the supply as well as by reducing losses by reducing its own technological consumption, reflecting in lowering of electricity bills to the final consumer.

The investments include works for expansion of the networks that will allow the connection of the new consumers to the electric network and, at the same time, it is envisaged the completion of important investments in the improvement and modernization of the IT infrastructure, of the management systems as well as investments in cyber security and continuity of activity, aiming at improving the data protection and, implicitly, the quality of the services provided.
