Silcotub started a solar project with a nominal power of 19.8 MW, respectively 21.2 MWp in Călăraşi, worth almost 97 million lei (VAT included), according to a company release.
From the total investment, the maximum non-refundable value is 29 million lei without VAT, and the own contribution amounts to approximately 68 million lei. The project implementation period is 12 months, with the delivery deadline being December 2024.
The general objective of the project is the production of energy from renewable solar sources, through the installation of new energy production capacities from renewable sources (capacity with a nominal power of 19.8 MW, respectively 21.216 MWp).
Through the implementation of the project, a total production of electricity from renewable sources will be achieved in the amount of 30.7 MWh/year, respectively 614 MWh in 20 years.
The project also aims to achieve a reduction in greenhouse gases, namely an estimated annual decrease in greenhouse gases in the amount of 18,971 tons of CO2 equivalent.
