Simtel Team announces that it has established an electricity trading company, GES Furnizare, according to a report submitted to the Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB). The company needs a supply license to conclude the first contracts with beneficiaries for the energy generated by solar parks. For 2023, the company estimated that it will commission photovoltaic power plants with an installed capacity of about 80 MWp, almost double compared to the 45 MWp installed in 2022.
“Management of Simtel Team S.A. informs investors about the fact that on 10.01.2024, GES Furnizare SRL, an entity in which the Company holds a 62% stake, obtained a valid energy supply license from the National Energy Regulatory Authority (ANRE) until 10.01.2029”, the report states.
“Following the granting of the license by ANRE, GES Furnizare SRL will be able to conclude the first contracts with the beneficiaries, the existence of an energy supply license being a prerequisite for signing such contracts.
