The SolaX Power business is booming and expects to have the best-selling inverter on the Romanian market this year, as not all installed PV projects meet technical standards. One reason is the lack of expertise among installers, says Robert Kenderessy, Regional Sales Manager for the Balkans at SolaX Power.
“Installers need education, and, I don’t know if you’ve noticed, but there are some installations that are not right. The market is always growing, and there are installers who are not doing their job properly. We have a responsibility to do a good job. The end consumer also needs to be educated. The market will need 20,000 people to install photovoltaic units, which implies the risk that not all projects will materialize due to lack of manpower,” he said at the Energy Strategy Summit 2024, organized by Energynomics.
The company has achieved a 20% market share for hybrid inverters in Germany, and in the Czech Republic, SolaX Power has an 80% market share with 180,000 inverters installed.
SolaX Power has the capacity to produce 676,000 battery modules, with the ability to increase production capacity by 200% if needed. SolaX Power can also produce close to 10 GW of power in inverters, with a potential 300% increase if demand dictates.
