Ştefan-Alexandru Frangulea has been appointed interim financial director of Electrica, for a term valid until December 31, 2022, informs the company.

“(…) On January 3, 2022, the term of office of the Chief Financial Officer of Mr. Mihai Darie effectively ceased, by reaching the term of four years. At the same time, during the meeting of January 3, 2022, the Board of Directors of the Company decided to appoint Mr. Stefan-Alexandru Frangulea, Romanian citizen, as interim executive director of the Finance Department, starting with January 4, 2022 and until December 31, 2022 “, it is shown in the Electrica release sent on Monday to the Bucharest Stock Exchange, according to Agerpres.

Ştefan Frangulea has over 20 years of experience in the financial-banking and energy sectors, in areas such as: banking services for corporations, corporate treasury, corporate finance, strategy, financial and capital markets, general management, business development, in positions
executive and management.

In February 2018, Frangulea joined the Electrica team, occupying the position of Director of the Treasury Department. Also, since the spring of 2019, he has been a member of the Boards of Directors of the three electricity distribution subsidiaries within the Electrica Group, SDEE Transilvania Nord SA, SDEE Transilvania Sud SA and SDEE Muntenia Nord SA. Currently, following the merger of the three subsidiaries, at the end of 2020, Ştefan-Alexandru Frangulea is a member of the Board of Directors of the company Distributie Energie Electrică România S.A.
