The Supervisory Board of the Transelectrica National Electric Energy Transport Company elected, on Tuesday, Ştefăniță Munteanu to the position of president of the company’s Directorate, alternatively called General Executive Director or Chief Executive Officer (CEO).

According to a Transelectrica press release, published on the Bucharest Stock Exchange, the provisional members of the Directorate were appointed, along with Munteanu, Cătălin Constantin Nadolu, Florin Cristian Tătaru and Bogdan Toncescu.

The mandate of the members of the Directorate has a duration of 4 months starting from June 25, 2023 with the possibility of extension, for valid reasons, for another two months, but the duration of the mandate will not exceed the date of completion of the selection procedure for the members of the Directorate of the National Electric Energy Transport Company under the conditions of GEO no. 109/2011, if the procedure will be completed within this interval, the company states.

Also, Cătălin Andrei Dascăl was elected as the president of the Supervisory Board of Transelectrica.
