Ensuring secure and clean energy in the long term will depend on the widespread use of energy storage systems as energy demand increases due to the electrification of the economy, said George Drobot, Solutions Manager at Photomate.

“In the future, we won’t be able to have secure and clean energy in the long term without storage systems. We are also promoting their usefulness, especially as the trend is electrification, which will increase the need for energy,” Drobot told at the Energy Strategy Summit 2024, organized by Energynomics.

In recent years, many PV systems have been installed for self-consumption. However, the cost of reactive energy has increased significantly in 2023 due to its increasing volume in the grid. In this context, Photomate aims to educate end consumers through PV panel installers so that they understand the importance of producing solar energy without overloading the grid.

This is why Photomate organized 60 trainings for installers last year, focusing on best practices for sizing and managing PV systems to get the most out of them.
