Finance Minister Eugen Teodorovici confirmed that on Thursday a new Government Emergency Ordinance for the amendment of Government Emergency Ordinance 114/2018 – a deadline previously announced by the Minister of Labor -, will be approved by the Government.

“On Thursday, at the Government meeting, there will be a draft amendment to GEO 114. For the energy side, last night I received modifications from the Energy Ministry,” Teodorovici said today.

Yesterday, minister of Labor, Marius Budai, said there are currently intense negotiations on the amendment of GEO 114/2018, and the final version will be presented at the Government meeting on Thursday.

“We will have a variant at the Government meeting on Thursday, but we have to have the right and most transparent version.” (…) The best option will be the one agreed by all parties,” Budai said, quoted by Agerpres.

He said that for now there is no final version, only a few conclusions, and discussions will continue.
