By the end of March, the Government Emergency Ordinance 114 will be amended and there is no impediment until then to be adopted by the Government, Minister of Public Finance Eugen Teodorovici said at the end of the debate in the Parliament.

„The amendments to GEO 114 could be agreed by Friday, because if we want the next week to have the amended ordinance, it also means some opinions, from the social dialogue, the Economic and Social Council’s opinion, automatically precede the approval in the Government. ..) We all said that by the end of March this ordinance will be amended and I repeat: I do not see from my point of view an impediment until then to be adopted by the Government,” Teodorovici said, quoted by Agerpres.

„The final form of GEO 114 will be discussed at coalition level, and if everyone agrees to take on this ordinance. There are technical stuff, but as principles everyone agreed with what we have announced so far in the public space.

„On energy, last week was the last session I attended, which was also attended by the coalition leaders and other colleagues in the Government. The ministry of Energy will make the final proposals, will have a final discussion, and if there are technical issues… because there are also many technical details about the way GEO 114 applies and we make a coherent text, one for the entire ordinance. We will also make it public for debate or for public information,” Eugen Teodorovici said.
