US giant Tesla is going to open a showroom and a service in Romania, thus officially entering the local market, once the number of customers who bought the brand’s cars increased. Tesla published job postings in Bucharest, according to Profit.ro.
The number of Tesla cars registered in Romania this year was 56, only in the last month being registered 5 units. The American company registered an increase of 250% this year, compared to last year, when only 16 units were registered.
In this context, it is easy to see why Tesla took the decision to open a showroom and a service, to serve existing customers, approaching 150 people. To these may be added the eventual owners who bought second-hand cars. According to official data, at the end of last year, 87 Tesla cars were registered on Romanian roads, of which 55 were less than two years old, and 30 were between 3 and 5 years old. If we add those bought this year, we have a total volume of 143 Tesla cars in circulation in Romania.
