Tetarom Cluj has been designated a reliable partner in the Generate Energy – Efficient Acting and Results – SMEs project, funded under Horizon 2020. Through Tetarom, small and medium enterprises operating in the three functional industrial parks will have access to tools to perform cost-benefit analysis of their energy efficiency and to identify areas where optimization and correction measures can be introduced.

The management of Tetarom claims that in this way it will become a provider of this utility at a competitive price, and its tenants will have the certainty of paying the lowest possible tariff.

The program will run until February 2023. “I am glad that we can come to the aid of investors in our industrial parks. Along with the other facilities we already offer to these companies, we now help them in the direction of energy efficiency of the activities they carry out, in order to optimize their costs. Certainly, the support we provide to the local business environment will return in the form of benefits for the entire Cluj community,” said Alin Tișe, president of the Cluj County Council, main shareholder of Tetarom, according to Transilvania Business Magazine.

The Cluj company obtained this status as a result of the establishment, within its own structure, of a department specialized in energy efficiency issues. Its objective is to support the efforts of companies within industrial parks in the direction of energy efficiency.

The project was won by the Technical University of Cluj-Napoca in partnership with Servelect, in a consortium made up of companies from 6 European countries.
