The annual rate of inflation remained at 3% in March of this year, given that food commodities increased by 5.11%, services by 3.8%, and non-food commodities by 1.39%, according to the data published on Friday by the National Institute of Statistics (INS).
Consumer prices in March 2020 compared to February rose by 0.5%, and as of December 2019 the advance was of 1.16%, according to Agerpres.
The annual rate calculated on the basis of the harmonized index of consumer prices (HICP) is of 2.7%.
The average rate of consumer prices in the last 12 months (April 2019 – March 2020) compared to the previous 12 months (April 2018 – March 2019), calculated on the basis of the CPI, is of 3.7%. Based on the HICP, the average rate is also of 3.7%.
