Mobile tracker systems allow the solar panels to be moved according to the movement of the sun, thus increasing the efficiency of the photovoltaic plant.
“We are bringing to the Romanian market a revolutionary product, a tracker system that follows the position of the sun, increasing the yield of solar energy production by 20%,” said Petre Ciobanu, Key Account Manger Europe and Asia at Valmont Industries, at the conference “More renewables for Romania”, organized by Energynomics.
At the same time, a tracker system is about 20% more efficient in terms of energy production, even if the initial investment is 20% higher.
The benefit that these trackers bring is that the investor earns more from the investment and thus recovers his money faster.
“From the point of view of sustainability, it means less wasted material resources”, Ciobanu also said.
The company has developed projects both in Romania and in Italy, Spain, America, Greece or Dubai.
