The energy price on the spot stock market in Romania was the lowest in the region, our country exporting over 300 MW around noon on Friday, according to Transelectrica and OPCOM data.
Thus, the energy delivered on Friday was priced, on the Romanian market, at 37.41 euro per MWh, while, in the rest of the countries with which Romania is connected, respectively Hungary, the Czech Republic and Slovakia, the price was 39.68 euro per MWh, according to Agerpres.
According to OPCOM data for Saturday (with delivery at 24.00-1.00), consulted by energynomics.ro, the local price dropped to 21 euro.
At the same time, on Friday, at around 13:00 am, the country’s consumption was of 5,940 MW, the production, of 7,230 MW, the difference of 1.198 MW being exported.
On the first place in the top of the sources of power generation were the wind power, with 2,118 MW, followed by nuclear (1,357 MW), hydro, with 1,337 MW, coal (1,015 MW), hydrocarbons (950 MW), photovoltaic, with 243 MW, and the biomass, with 49 MW.
