The “Rabla Classic” program for 2020 started on Tuesday, at 1:00 pm, through the Environmental Fund Administration (AFM), informs the Ministry of Environment, Water and Forests (MMAP).

The “Rabla Clasic” 2020 program has a budget of 405 million lei, the largest since the implementation of the program, and it is estimated that there will be 60,000 beneficiaries, the largest number in the last 15 years.

The amount of the scrapping premium remains of 6,500 lei (1,350 euro). This premium can be increased by an additional 1,000 lei, if the car that the beneficiary chooses has the emission threshold of 96 grams of CO2 per kilometer, according to Agerpres.

The “Rabla Clasic” 2020 program has an eco-bonus of 1,000 lei for the purchase of a car with LPG or CNG systems, an eco-bonus that can be added to the 6,500 lei.

Also, the eco-bonus for conventional hybrid cars (those that do not need charging) was increased from 1,700 lei to 2,500 lei. The “Rabla Moto” program, introduced for the first time this year, offers a premium of 3,500 lei for old motorcycles.
