The team from the Ministry of Energy strenghtens with Iulian-Robert Tudorache (Secretary of State) and Remus Vulpescu (advisor)

Iulian Robert Tudorache was appointed State Secretary in the Ministry of Energy, in the same day when Cristian Busu was dismissed, by decisions of the Prime Minister Sorin Grindeanu, published Wednesday in the Official Gazette.

Tudorache ia a lawyer, councilor at City Hall Pitesti and president of the ALDE in Pitesti, the party to which the Energy Minister Toma Petcu also belongs. He served as an adviser to former Energy Minister Andrei Gerea in 2015, the year when he also was adviser to the general director Conpet, member of the Board of Directors of the Romania’s Technologies for Nuclear Energy Autonomous Agency (RATEN), member of the Board of Directors of Energy Complex Hunedoara (CEH), member of the technical secretariat of Nuclearelectrica and member of a committee for negotiating in the Hidro Tarniţa SA project company.

Remus Vulpescu, former head of the Office of State Ownership and Privatisation in Industry (OPSPI) in 2012, was appointed as a personal advisor to the Minister of Energy. In the past, Vulpescu has served as member of the Board of Directors of Rompetrol Rafinare Constanta (where the state is a shareholder with a share of 44.6%), he has been member of the Board of Directors of Transgaz and director of the energy equipment manufacturer Vulcan SA Bucureşti.
