The Romanian division of the French giant TotalEnergies has prepared two projects to build photovoltaic parks, which will provide part of the electricity consumption of the Romanian car manufacturer Automobile Dacia of the Renault group, at the plant in Mioveni and at the Technical Centre in Titu. For these it is considering attracting European funding through the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (NRRP), according to Profit.ro.
The parks will be developed by TotalEnergies Marketing Romania, part of the French Total Group, which owns and operates the lubricants, bitumen and special fluids plant at Cristian in Brasov county. The beneficiary will be Automobile Dacia, one of the largest industrial consumers of energy and gas in Romania. The solar park envisaged for the Mioveni industrial platform is designed to have an installed capacity of 30.35 MW. The other project of TotalEnergies Marketing Romania SA for Dacia, also proposed for financing by the PNRR, is the construction of a 3.85 MW photovoltaic plant in Titu, Dâmbovița county, to supply the Dacia Technical Centre in the city.
