Transelectrica’s management has filed a criminal complaint against former President Marius-Dănuţ Caraşol, who was recently removed from office after several publications reported that he had falsified his CV.
“Until this date, the legal procedures for terminating Mr. Caraşol’s individual employment contract within the Bucharest Transport Branch have been initiated. At the same time, the decisive stability of the Bucharest Transport Branch has been ensured, by the appointment of an interim director. Transelectrica SA has decided to follow the civil and criminal proceedings in relation with Mr. Marius-Dănuţ Caraşol, so that the proceedings regarding the establishment of the Company as a civil part in the investigation of the General Prosecutor’s Office are initiated as well as the filing of all due diligence in the sense of instituting insurance measures in the criminal case”, stated Transelectrica.
The Supervisory Board of the National Electricity Transport Company requested, at Tuesday’s meeting, the executive management of the company to present the stage of the actions initiated following the dismissal of Mr. Marius-Dănuţ Caraşol from the position of president and member of the Board.
The Supervisory Board (CS) of Transelectrica dismissed the president of the directorate, Marius Caraşol, on September 19, and decided to appoint ad interim Claudia-Gina Anastase, according to Agerpres.
