Transelectrica has a 10-year development plan that involves an investment volume of about 4.1 billion lei, said Bogdan Andronic, state secretary at the Ministry of Economy, quoted by Agerpres.
„The 10-year Transelectrica development plan implies an investment volume of about 4.1 billion lei and has four points of attention: retechnologizing the network, integrating the production from Dobrogea, increasing the interconnectivity and increasing the capacity to supply consumers in areas with poor production,” he pointed out.
From this perspective, the next 10 years means 1,000 kilometers of new lines and upgrading more than half of the total of 81 transformer stations.
„2019 is a difficult year, a transition to a new regulatory period, with many challenges that follow, but by applying the measures we have thought, at the end of it we will have a stronger company and closer to the normal trajectory of a strategic companies of national interest and, more recently, regional, such as Transelectrica,“ Andronic said.
