Transelectrica, the operator of the national electricity transmission network, has launched at the electronic public procurement system a tender for the acquisition of a system for measuring electricity on the wholesale market, writes e-nergia.ro.
The new “System for metering and data management of electricity on the wholesale market” is an assembly consisting of a central computer system, electricity meters mounted in power stations and related communications.
The total estimated value of the contract, which includes both the investment itself and the maintenance, amounts to 9 million euro (43.7 million lei), according to the data in the announcement. The duration of the contract is of about 11 years (131 months), at least, of which the investment must be made in the first 23 months, and the warranty period is of between 36 and 48 months.
Transelectrica is waiting for offers from companies interested in the project until June 29. The contract will be awarded following a tender, to the one that comes with the best quality-price offer, where the price has a score of 80%.
