Transelectrica, the national transporter of electricity, awarded the rating agency Fitch Ratings LTD an agreement worth 90.000 euros, excluding VAT, for the supply of credit rating services, according to an announcement of the company, posted in the Electronic System for Public Procurement (SEAP).

According to Transelectrica, the type of procedure was the negotiation, and the award criterion was the lowest price. Thus, for this agreement three bids were received, but only two were declared admissible.

Transelectrica manages and operates the electric transmission system and provides the electricity exchanges between the countries of Central and Eastern Europe, as a member of the European Network of Transmission and System Operators for Electricity (ENTSO-E).

The company is responsible for the electricity transmission, system operation and of the market, ensuring the safety of the National Power System (SEN).
