The General Meeting of Shareholders of the Transelectrica approved the granting of a gross dividend per share of 0.71 lei from the profit recorded on December 31, 2022, according to a report of the company, submitted to the Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB).

“For the financial statements related to the 2022 financial year, the distribution of profit at CNTEE Transelectrica SA is carried out in accordance with the legislation applicable to national companies with majority state capital. Under these conditions, according to the proposal for the distribution of accounting profit remaining after the deduction of profit tax on December 31, 2022, the total value of dividends for the year 2022 that will be allocated to the shareholders of CNTEE Transelectrica SA, legal and natural persons, residents and non-residents, is of 52,045,231 lei,” the document reveals, according to Agerpres.

The number of shares related to the subscribed and paid-up capital is of 73,303,142, and the value of the gross dividend per share related to the profit – of 2022 is 0.71 lei.

“We note that, in accordance with the provisions of the Fiscal Code in force, upon the effective payment of dividends, the dividend tax is to be withheld at source and transferred to the state budget by Transelectrica,” the report also states.
