Transgaz Medias, the national company operating the natural gas transport system, plans to procure services and works with an aggregate value of approximately 486.7 million euros, shows an announcement from the company. The contract with the lowest value, is for the construction of the transport internal pipeline between Mintia and Stei (5.4 million euros).
The largest contract, of about 310 million euros, is regarding the first phase of works for the execution of the pipeline, development of the Romanian pipeline segment, of the Bulgaria – Romania – Austria – Hungary (BRUA) pipeline. The project involves a substantial European funding, nearly 180 million euros, obtained by Transgaz, through the mechanism of the Common Interest Projects.
The seven contracts refer to the following actions:
- Project management services, legal advice for the staff, consultancy for implementation on the gas balancing market, public relations consultancy (approx. 30.57 million euros)
- Natural gas supply to settlements in the northern county of Prahova (approx. 6.29 million euros)
- Gas transmission pipeline Mintia – Brad – Stei (approx. 5.4 million euros)
- Gas transmission pipeline Oneşti – Gherăieşti – Leţcani (approx. 33.33 million euros)
- Compression stations Gherăieşti and Oneşti (approx. 24.77 million euros)
- Development of the national gas transport on the Bulgaria – Romania – Hungary – Austria corridor (approx. 310 million euros)
- Performing works at the Podisor, Bibeşti and Jupa compression stations (approx. 76.4 million euros)
