In the first quarter of this year, Transgaz registered a net profit of 267.918 million lei, up 70% compared to the same period in 2021, according to the individual financial results sent on Monday to the Bucharest Stock Exchange.

The gross profit, of 323.341 million lei, achieved on March 31, 2022 is higher by 64%, respectively by 126.539 million lei compared to that of the first three months of last year.

Revenues from domestic transport activity decreased by 2% in January-March 2022, to 411,335, and those from international and similar transport increased by 9%, according to Agerpres.

The total amount of gas transported was of 4.382 billion cubic meters (minus 379.6 million cubic meters), of which 1.07 billion cubic meters for direct consumers (minus 238.78 million cubic meters) and 3.311 for distributions (minus 140.8 million cubic meters).
