In the first quarter of this year, Transgaz recorded an individual net profit of 125.37 million lei, down 53% compared to the same period in 2022, according to the individual financial results submitted to the Bucharest Stock Exchange on Monday, according to Agerpres.
Revenues from domestic transport activity decreased in the period January-March 2023 by 4%, to 393.76 million lei, and those from international and similar transport increased by 158%, to 29.02 million lei.
Operating expenses before balancing and construction activity according to IFRIC12 increased in the first quarter by 63% compared to the first quarter of 2022.
The total amount of gas transported was 3.67 billion cubic meters (minus 330 million cubic meters), of which 891.65 million cubic meters for direct consumers (minus 59.67 million cubic meters) and 2.78 billion cubic meters for distributions (minus 389 .79 million cubic meters).
