BRUA pipeline works are on schedule, and 215 kilometers of pipeline have been already completed, Transgaz officials said. Transgaz’s general manager, Ion Sterian, had visits to all yards at the end of last week, inspecting on spot the progress of the works and found that the project was running as planned.
“Works on the BRUA pipeline are on schedule, according to the contract signed with the consortium of constructors. Up to now, 215 km of pipeline and three compressing stations are completed as follows: STG Jupa completed, for the next months up to around 25.09, will be in technological trials, and commissioning will take place on 01.10.1019; the one from Podişor – finished at about 90%, the commissioning will take place on 01.11.2019 and the one from Bibești – ready 80%, commissioning – on April 17, 2020, if the winter will not be heavy”, Transgaz officials said, according to financialintelligence.ro.
Contracts signed with the construction companies for both the pipeline, the linear line and the Compression Stations are due to be completed on April 17, 2020, if the weather will allow it.
According to Transgaz officials, the rains and storms of the past two months have created a great deal of trouble for builders to meet their deadlines (31.12.2019).
The BRUA project is an investment of about 560 million euros.
