All nuclear power plants in Ukraine are operating stably, but staff at the Zaporozhye plant, captured by Russian forces, are facing psychological pressure, the Ukrainian state nuclear company Energoatom said on Friday, according to Reuters.
It states that the radiation level has remained unchanged at all plants.
“The employees of the plant (from Zaporozhye) are under strong psychological pressure from the occupants, all the staff, on arrival at the plant, are carefully controlled by armed terrorists,” says Energoatom.
“This negatively affects work and jeopardizes nuclear safety,” the company added.
According to Energoatom, almost a million people in Ukraine are currently deprived of electricity.
