As artificial intelligence (AI) and high performance processing (HPC) continue to dominate the data center landscape, Vertiv (NYSE: VRT), a global provider of critical digital infrastructure and business continuity solutions, announced a new portfolio of high-density data center infrastructure to support the higher power and cooling requirements of AI. Available now in Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA), the Vertiv 360AI system is designed to accelerate AI deployments at any scale, with designs ranging from rack solutions for pilot testing and edge AI, to full data centers for training AI models.

Artificial intelligence and accelerated processing are driving unprecedented demand for power and cooling, with an estimated increase in density of up to 500 kW per rack. As a result, the design and implementation of power and cooling infrastructure has become significantly more complicated. Vertiv 360AI offers a simple way to power and cool AI, with a complete portfolio of power, cooling and service solutions that solve the complex challenges arising from the AI ​​revolution. Vertiv 360AI solutions include validated designs and pre-engineered solutions to provide the benefit of Vertiv’s deep expertise while eliminating design cycles.

Vertiv 360AI also offers prefabricated modular solutions to enable customers to implement AI without disrupting existing workloads and without consuming space. Initial Vertiv 360AI solutions can power and cool over 130 kW per rack and include models optimized for retrofitting existing infrastructure.

Vertiv 360AI will be showcased at the Datacloud Global Congress (June 5-6, Cannes, France) and at the EMEA tour of the Vertiv AI Solutions Innovation Roadshow.
