The Minister of Energy, Virgil Popescu, discussed on Friday with the representatives of the companies Taqa, Meridiam, Fluor, Transelectrica and E-Infra about the possible involvement in the completion of the project of the High Voltage Direct Current (HVDC) Line 5,000 MW, on the territory of Romania, on the corridor of BRUA gas and the future Tuzla – Podisor pipeline.
“We are strengthening the energy transport network in our country, as part of the strategy by which we increase the production of green energy. Today at the Ministry of Energy we had an important meeting with representatives of large companies that are interested in investing in the completion of the High Voltage Line project in Direct Current (HVDC) 5,000 MW, on the territory of Romania, on the corridor of the BRUA gas main and the future Tuzla – Podisor main,” the minister wrote on his Facebook page, according to Agerpres.
“I had very good discussions with the representatives of Taqa, Meridiam, Fluor, Transelectrica and E-Infra. I hope that there will be a fruitful collaboration to complete this important project for our country, but also for the region,” Popescu added.
