Transelectrica has initiated a voluntary lay-off plan, providing compensation packages of up to ten salaries. About 49 employees decided to leave the network operator.
“The National Power Grid Company Transelectrica SA carried out in the beginning of March, according to the provisions of art. 55, lit. b of the Labor Code, corroborated with the provisions of art. 2.62 of the applicable Collective Labor Agreement, a voluntary departure program (termination of the Individual Work Agreement on a voluntary basis), aiming at reorganizing and streamlining the Company’s activity. 49 employees have requested the termination of the individual labor contract voluntarily, this being effective on March 15”, Transelectrica claims, according to e-nergia.ro.
“In the elaboration of the minimum conditions for inclusion in the program, criteria regarding the categories of personnel were also taken into consideration, so that the safety in operation of the National Electricity System is not affected,” the company shows.
The company has about 2,000 employees in the central structure and its eight branches.
