Corina Popescu, CEO of Electrica SA, with a full four-year mandate since January 25, 2019, talks about the group’s medium and long-term action plans. The most important news factor that dominates her agenda is the legislative and regulatory changes announced in recent months. “It is important to understand what the changes are and what will be their impact on the business, the economy in general, how will the domestic and industrial customers will experience these changes,” Corina Popescu told us.
Tomasz Wolanowski, Country Manager ABB Romania, talks about the changes that Romanian society and economy underwent in recent years, and also about ABB’s role in modernizing industrial processes. Strictly related to energy, Tomasz Wolanowski warns: “We need more investment in electricity generation, transport and distribution networks.”
In line with the dominant European trends, briefly expressed in the “clean energy transition” mantra, Cristian Athanasovici, Business Development Manager for Kawasaki Gas Turbines in the region, talks about the role that natural gas can play in the process. In a dialogue with other two Kawasaki representatives, we have learned that the most consistent efforts are needed to demonstrate to the potential beneficiaries, mainly from industry, that cogeneration plants are not only more efficient, but more feasible , and the investment can be recovered within a reasonable time.
Decision-makers, experts and managers are also featured in the new magazine energynomics.ro Magazine.
