With GES Trade, Simtel Team enters the supply market in the Republic of Moldova

Simtel Team has become an energy supplier in the Republic of Moldova, according to a report submitted to the Stock Exchange.

“The management of Simtel Team S.A. (hereinafter referred to as the “Company”) informs investors that on 04.03.2025, GES ENERGY TRADE S.R.L., an entity from the Republic of Moldova in which the Company holds a 42.7% stake, obtained from the National Agency for Energy Regulation (ANRE) the energy supply license, valid until 03.03.2035,” the report states.

“Following the granting of the license by ANRE, GES ENERGY TRADE S.R.L. will be able to conclude the first contracts with beneficiaries, the existence of an energy supply license being a prerequisite for signing such contracts.

By obtaining the energy supplier license, the Company strengthens its position as a market leader, offering its clients a complete package of integrated products and services”, the report also states.

Simtel Team recorded a net profit of 36.7 million lei last year, up 35% compared to 2023, according to the preliminary financial report. Turnover reached 354.3 million lei, marking an advance of 19%, while operating expenses increased by 18%, reaching 312 million lei. Assets increased by 72%, to 342.7 million.
